London, Day 0
Just arrived in London! A little over 24 hours since we left our house. Whew.
On the first leg of our trip, we were unexpectedly upgraded to business class. I didn't exactly know how it happened, as I was in the toilet then. All I knew was that when I came back to our gate, L was sitting in the first row, having moved from our original seat between OFWs and crying children. I couldn't contain my excitement! It was our first time! Aaaahhh. It was such a cool experience, even if we didn't end up being seated next to each other, since we were merely fillers for unbooked seats. I loooved the lounge wear. The tuna poke bowl was divine. The Bvlgari toiletry bag had everything. I cannot believe we got a taste of this-- how can we ever go back??
For Dubai to London, we were back to our humble economy seats. Luckily, the flight wasn't full, so we got the row all to ourselves! Not bad at all.
We took the Elizabeth Line from Heathrow Terminal 3, moved to the Jubilee Line to Southwark. The station is literally 3 minutes from our hotel
